Incorrect date imported into date field

In moving emails from Entourage 2008 for Mac into this FM Importer 2, I find that in some cases the date field registers incorrectly.

For example, I have one whose date shows up in its Entourage mailbox as 8/16/01. This, and others in that mailbox with various Received dates from 2001-2002, all import with the date field reading 1/22/2003.

This doesn't happen with all my emails, so I don't understand the problem, or the inconsistency.
