What about attachments???

Due to AppleScript limitations in "Mail", it is not currently possible for "Mail to FileMaker Importer" to extract attachments. Therefore, all attachments will be ignored in imported messages. Hopefully, a future version of "Mail" will allow for this functionality.

In the meantime, as an alternative, there are some other email applications that will allow access to attachments, including MS Entourage and Eudora. If you are interested in switching to a different email application, we will be happy to discuss creating a custom version of the solution for you that would work with one of these applications. Mac OS X 10.4.x and Higher

Apple has finally added a way to retrieve attachments from Mail. So, I will try to add this functionality into the solution, as soon as my schedule allows. Stay tuned.

Hey there.

I just about bought this script, but then read about the attachments dilemma....any progress?? This sounds like it would suit me down to the ground....though I have tried a couple of other applescript based tools to do a similar thing (not to FMP tho!)...nothing has worked yet!

Please let me know when you will have the chance to include this functionality!!

I do understand the need to handle attachments. This is probably my most requested feature for this solution, and I do hope to have some time to add it soon. At the moment, I have a number of active custom development projects, which are requiring my full attention. Therefore, I do not have a definite date for when this update will occur. I will try to get to it as soon as I possibly can.

I currently use fmMailscanX but it also doesn't handle attachments, looking forward to switching in the future!
