 Import causes Filemaker to crash
I'm hoping for a little help with this one....
We've just started using the importer and it was working just fine until this morning. Now, regardless of the email message, or messages, we are trying to import filemaker crashes just after we click on the import button.
Here is an excerpt from the log:
04.26.10 8:40:48 AM - ERROR - Number: -7500005, Message: solutionLib.scpt - processIndividualMessage(vMessage, rDBSettings, rImportOptions) - -609 FileMaker Pro got an error: Connection is invalid.
04.26.10 8:40:50 AM - ERROR - Number: -7500005, Message: solutionLib.scpt - processIndividualMessage(vMessage, rDBSettings, rImportOptions) - -1728 Object not found.
04.26.10 8:40:51 AM - Import started: Monday, April 26, 2010 8:40:43 AM Import Finished: Monday, April 26, 2010 8:40:51 AM Message(s) Successfully Imported: 0
I've tried restarting the Importer, Filemaker, and the entire client machine but always get a crash. I've also tried resetting the database, table and field mapping, all to no avail.
Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall? Or is there a better approach?
Thanks for your help,
David Lerner

Re: Import causes Filemaker to crash
Is it possibly a problem with a specific message. Some other suggestions...
1) Try using a fresh copy of the database, to see if you get the crash. If not, then perhaps your database has become corrupted.
2) Try importing a different, small batch of emails, to see if it makes a difference.
3) Try launching Disk Utility in /Applications/Utilities, and repairing permissions.
4) If you have multiple copies of FileMaker on your Mac, try going into M2FMI's preferences, and mapping it to the desired version.
Regards,
-Ben
