Folder Manager X Aids Users In Batch Creating, Renaming, Archiving Folders and Folder Items

Phoenixville, Pennsylvania - April 29th, 2003 - Automated Workflows announced today that "Folder Manager X" is now available.
"Folder Manager X" is an AppleScript-based application that can be used to batch process folders, performing common repetitive tasks. Complete with an easy-to-navigate interface, this solution allows users to automatically build folders, hundreds at a time, using a specified naming convention. The solution also has the ability to build nested sub-folders in each folder that it creates, if desired.
In addition to building folders, "Folder Manager X" can also be used to rename folder items by adding or removing prefixes and suffixes. The solution can also be used to delete or archive folder items older than a specified number of days.

AppleScript Provides The Ability To Dial The Phone From A Filemaker Database In OS X

Phoenixville, Pennsylvania - April 8th, 2003 - Automated Workflows announced today that a "Dial Phone From FileMaker" AppleScript is now available.
In Mac OS 9, FileMaker Pro databases could be configured to dial a phone number through the use of an internal script. However, this feature is not yet available in the OS X version of FileMaker. "Dial Phone From FileMaker" is an external AppleScript application designed to provide the ability to extract a phone number from a field in a FileMaker Pro database, and then dial that number using Internet Connect.

Clipboard Scripts Offer The Ability For Virtually Anyone To Become More Efficient

Phoenixville, Pennsylvania - April 4th, 2003 - Automated Workflows announced today that a "Clipboard Scripts" package is now available.
"Clipboard Scripts" is a package of 20 AppleScripts, which may be used by virtually anyone to become more efficient while performing everyday tasks. Once installed, "Clipboard Scripts" are accessed through Apple's "Script Menu", which is installed with Mac OS X 10.2 and later. By integrating these AppleScripts with the "Script Menu", they may be triggered at any time, from within any application.
"Clipboard Scripts" utilize the clipboard in OS X to perform specialized tasks. After copying text to the clipboard, users can trigger these AppleScripts to add prefixes and suffixes to each paragraph, sort paragraphs, extract URLs, remove HTML tags, and much more!
A 5-script "Clipboard Scripts" package is available as freeware from the Automated Workflows web site. Or, the complete package of all 20 "Clipboard Scripts" is available commercially for as little as $5.
